Valentine's Day

So yesterday was Valentine's Day here in Equador. Pretty much the best day ever. I had been having a hard couple of days, feeling like I wasn't here for a reason, no one liked me, pity party. And God just COMPLETELY spoke to me through Valentine's Day like you would not believe. This is what I mean: I received 21 letters, 3 boxes of chocolates, a bookmark, a giraffe stuffed animal, two teddy-bears, a pair of earrings, a necklace, cookies and a bouquet of white roses. Yes, I feel loved :) The letters were some of the SWEETEST most ENCOURAGING letters I have ever gotten in my life. Here are some of them:

I am blessed!

Typical Sunday

Hello everyone!! Sorry if you completely hate my blog now, since I haven't posted in like a week. But my Internet was bad for a couple of days, and I was also just lazy/busy. Anyways... I though I might start up again with some pictures from a typical Sunday where I live. I love going to church here because all of the kids go and it is just a lot of fun - and I LOVE the bible classes and the sermons!

 Crazy pictures. Love these kids.

Fighting with Jhon - I won.

Cristian!

Typical Jhon shot.

My boy!

Don't exactly know what is going on here - but do you like my outfit? Crazy rainboots, colorful sweater, new hat I bought from one of my student's moms at church that day.

MI BEBE!

Typical Ansley shot.

Typical  Cristian shot. (Those of you who know him, know I am right - this is his favorite look.)

Typical Priscila shot!

Aaaand.... typical, typical Maritza shot.

These times are my favorite times of all - when all of the kids are around me (Maritza included) and I can just LOVE on them.

Prayer requests:
- My sister thinks she broke her finger playing basketball (we are not very good at sports).
- One of my grandparent's best friends died suddenly this week. Pray for his wife and family he left behind and thank God for the time he had with us! He was funny, nice, and a very godly man. I am thankful to have gotten to know him while his soul was still on earth! And now he is in heaven - PRAISE GOD!
- One of my christian brothers in Brazil is going through a hard time. If you would like to know more about him, you can go to my dad's blog post.

I hope you have a GREAT week :)
